At the time of writing this (Monday night at close to midnight), the death count of the tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon is at three, one of which was an eight year old child. An eight year old child! It is no secret that I hate it when children suffer (There are No Words …) especially due to the act of cowardice from one person or a group of persons or terrorists. This really upsets me and I have been moved to tears on more than one occasion and it is sad that I have had so many opportunities to cry for children. We need to find out a way to protect our children better. Although going to a public event or sporting event shouldn’t be so dangerous. Very sad!
I hope by the time that this post goes out, we know more about who did this and why. However, no matter the reason, there is no justification for attacking a civilian target and cause the deaths and injuries of so many people. Those who are involved should pay and pay dearly because what price can you really put on a life and they took three of them, and again one of them being a child.
I have the news on and I am hearing about a man who killed his girlfriend who was eight months pregnant and has six other kids (all with this guy). If the tragedy in Boston was not enough, we have more. Sad, sad, sad.
I have made no excuses or attempts to hide my feelings on this matter. I personally think that if you want to end your life, fine, we will be more than happy to help you do so. There is no need to take others with you. Nor is there a need to cause others pain. If you are that dead set on checking out, then I think there should be a way to facilitate that.
My heart goes out to the people and families who are affected by the tragedy in Boston and I hope that some how God can help them to be comforted in this time. I know I will be praying for them.
